Allison's 1st Birthday!!

Allison isn't officially turning 1 until Wednesday, but we had her 1st birthday party a few days early since my family was already down here for Christmas. Thanks so much to everybody who came! Allison loves all her gifts...we're definitely blessed!!

Christmas 2009

Sorry it's been so long since the last post. We've gotten moved into our new house and just got the computer put together. It's been a crazy couple weeks, but hopefully life will start to settle down...

After moving into our new house

I couldn't get our tree set up until Christmas Eve because of all the moving; here's how Allison "helped".

Mom, Dad, Mike, Jess and their kids were all able to come down, so it made for a fun first Christmas in our home :)

In case you aren't a Petty, the strings are a family tradition. Santa ties a string to your stocking, then winds it around the house (upstairs, downstairs, sometimes outside) and it leads to your big gift. It's so much fun!! Greg even got to enjoy it this year :)

Greg unwrapped the "Texas Snowball" to find all the money inside :) Thanks Pappy and Grandma; it will sure help out with the new house!!
