Helping in the kitchen
Allison's new toy...she seems to like it :)

Things are still going pretty good with us. The only big news is that we put our townhouse on the market!! I finally convinced Greg that it's time for us to move to the 'burbs. We have some ideas of where we want to buy, but we have to sell this one first. If you know someone who is interested in a 2 bed, 2.5 bath condo with a 2 car garage on the West side of Houston, let me know. I'm trying to do all the advertising I can...
Allison is still growing and changing a little bit every day. We go in for her 6 month checkup next Tuesday, so we'll see what the doc has to say. Other than the one time she was on Amoxicillin, she has eaten solely breastmilk because everything I've read (and what my doc says) recommends not starting food until 6 months. I think she was ready though, so I went ahead and started her on oatmeal last week. She seems to like it!!
We recognize how truly blessed we are to have such a happy, healthy, easy-going baby. Our prayers are with the Garza family as they are dealing with being in and out of the hospital. Evan is a strong little boy and we know how hard it must be. We wish you and your doctors the best :)
UTAH HERE WE COME!!! We're leaving for our first family road trip next Friday. MapQuest says it's a 24 hour drive to Utah, but with a baby, we'll see how long it really takes...
We plan to make it to Brigham City on July 5th to get to visit with Grandma Petty, then we'll drive down to St George to stay with Matt and Emily, then on to the cabin for a couple nights. I'm so excited for Greg to get to see the cabin (and me too...I haven't seen it since Mom and Artis redecorated it 4 years ago). We hope to get to see other family and friends while we're there too...I hope I remember to take my camera so we'll have tons of pictures of the first Baird family road trip :)
