The Joys of Maternity Pants
So I'm at that point....all my clothes seem to be fitting a bit more snugly. That's when I found the miracle they call "stretchy pants". Basically the maternity clothes companies cut off the top couple inches of a normal pair of pants and replace it with a 2-inch band of elastic. HOW AWESOME!!! They are the most comfortable pants ever :) I'm definitely going to be spoiled! You're not going to catch me chilling on the couch with my pants unbottoned any more....

Hi Andrea! This is your cousin Frank's wife, Emily. I didn't even realize you had a blog until I just saw the link on Karen's blog. Since, we've never actually met, this will be a good way to get to know each other a little (I've 'met' a few of Frank's Winterholler cousins this way too)! I didn't even know that you guys were expecting - Congratulations - that's wonderful!! When is your due date? I'm glad to hear that so far your pregnancy is progressing smoothly. And I agree...maternity pants are the best! They make great post-partum pants too - they are so comfortable you begin to wonder why you would ever wear anything else.
Did you try the rubberband? I used that on my normal pants for as long as possible and it worked out great. Even yet, when I finally did break down for maternity pants, those are the ones I bought and they were wonderful! They are even great afterwards because they are so comfy, plus, you don't feel like you're wearing maternity pants. I'm getting so excited for you!!! Can't wait to find out what you're having.
I am glad you like the band because I HATE it! They're always falling down! (Maybe it has something to do with that ghetto booty of mine?! LOL!) I prefer the panel ... except the stores seem to think you are an old lady if you like the panel because they are all tapered leg ... no, thank you!
