...but I feel like I can finally stop and take a breath. Volleyball season is over, and I'm afraid to say, it might be my last one...I just don't know that I'll have the time or energy to coach again next year. The last 2 months have definitely been more stressful than anything I can remember; I've worked at lease 65 hours every week so far this school year (except for our "Ike vacation"). And people say teachers work from 8 til 3....if they only knew...
On the baby front: baby Allison and I are both doing wonderful. We've been blessed enough to have no complications or problems so far. She's growing and kicking and moving around all the time; it's really interesting to me. Greg's even been able to feel her a few times. Except for being thirsty all the time, I have no complaints. Only 10 weeks left to go!!!
Our house is still in shambles :( Almost 6 weeks after the hurricane and we're still living with a hole in the ceiling (though the roof is tarped) and no carpet on the stairs. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon...I want our house to be back to normal!! I also can't wait to start getting our baby nursery set up. We have piles and piles stacked and shoved in corners because we have to wait to get the carpet padding back down before we can get things moved in.
The plans for this weekend are to head to Tyler to do some family bonding (i.e. work our butts off) at the Pumpkin Patch. Greg's birthday is on Monday, so he and I did some clothes shopping the other day. That's something I haven't gotten him to do in a loooooong time!! We found a really nice leather jacket that he wanted, so that's his big splurge of a present. I have a fun idea of what to do for his cake, but it's a surprise...I'll have to post pictures later :)
That's about all that's been happening around here lately. I'm going to catch up on my DVR shows and lay on the couch and be lazy the rest of the night. Later :)

I can't believe your little one is almost here! What a challenge to try to get your house back in order. Good luck with the Pumpkin Patch this year. Say hello to your mom and dad for me.
Our due date is the 22nd of Jan. But since it was a surprise we are hoping for a wrong due date. Plus my boys came early. I have a due date counter at the top left of my blog. It is not moving fast enough.
Have fun with your family in Tyler! How is Grandma doing? How long is she staying with your folks?
So glad to hear everything is going well for you and the baby. I cannot wait to meet her (probably at our 2010 cruise!)
I can't believe you only have ten weeks left!! It's gone by so fast. I'm glad to hear that you're surviving, hopefully your house will be fixed up soon enough. =)
Time to catch up with what is going on and check out your blog again. We're excited for you all. Didn't know you'd picked a name. Allison is so cute. Your mom needs to keep me better informed. Guess they are just crazy busy with the pumpkin patch and having Grandma there.
It drove me crazy when people would say, oh teaching is so great you only work 9-3 and then have summers off - as you said...if they only knew!! I feel so bad for you and your house clean up from Ike while trying to prepare for a new baby - that must b stressful - hopefully it will all com together for you soon. Our house is also ashambles, but since it's not from a hurricane - just moving - I have nothing to complain about.
