Allison is more mobile then ever, and we have realized how un-childproof our house is. We have a wonderful IKEA coffee table that has shelves and storage baskets underneath, and Allison's new favorite pasttime is to see how big of a mess she can make :) For someone as uber-organized as I am, it's definitely an adjustment. But she's just so darn cute...
We've also been busy planning for Thanksgiving. A&M is playing the university of texas on Thanksgiving this year (a throwback to a few decades ago), so we're tailgating Thanksgiving dinner!! It's a lot of coordination with our friends, but we're really excited!
And the biggest news of all: WE BOUGHT A NEW HOUSE!!! We've had our townhouse on the market for the last 6 months, so we've been keeping up with what's out there, and we found a house we couldn't let slip by. We still haven't sold our townhouse (we might have to end up renting it out), but we're set to close on our new house on Dec 21st...just in time for Christmas!! Our new house is 4 bed, 3.5 bath with a gameroom, study, formal living and dining and a GIANT backyard. We plan to live in this house for the next 20 years, so it big enough for us to grow into. It's 4560 sq ft, so we have plenty of space, though most of it will stay empty for a while :) We do our inspection next week, so hopefully everything goes smoothly...we'll keep everybody posted...
