The talents we've discovered

Allison's talents:
1. Sleeping-When she's tired, the girl can sleep through anything!
We even went to visit Greg at work during lunch yesterday and I joined in on the daily game of 42 (dominoes for those of you who are non-Aggies) and she slept through the whole thing!!

2. Strength-she has a super-strong neck and arms already.
When you hold her up on your shoulder (like you're burping her) she likes to push back and prop herself up in the pushup position. She can hold herself up like that for quite a while before bobbling and laying back down. She enjoys looking around and I guess this gives her the best vantage point.

3. Farting-and she's not very subtle about it either. This answers the nature versus nurture question when it comes to being ladylike :) We've got a lot to teach her...
She farted pretty loudly during church on Sunday and Greg and I looked at each other and giggled about it, and so did the guy sitting next to us. Who knew such a noise could come from such a cute little bundle :)

4. Eating-once she got a hang of it, she's really good at eating now. I really enjoy the mother-daughter bonding time we get to have during feedings, even during the middle of the night :)

5. Being adorable-need I say more :)

6. Her feet-ok, so it's not really a talent, but they have to be mentioned...
Her hands and feet seem proportionally large, which we're claiming comes from Grandpa Petty. Right now she's already filling out the 0-6 month size socks without room to spare, and she's only 3 weeks old!!! She'll be sharing shoes with me before too long...

Chillin' with Daddy
We couldn't get a good picture of her in her first going-to-church outfit, so this one will have to do...She wanted to be held and didn't like being set on the couch.

That's hilarious! We've had that happen a time or two, as well. It's REALLY nice when they pass gas during an opening or closing prayer!

Cute! I love her little outfit!

Isabella had the strength talent too...and still does. That girl just wants to be mobile and wants to be "a do it myself" little girl.
